The six month truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip mediated by Egypt ended on December 19. Following the end of that ceasefire, tensions and violence escalated between Israel and Hamas. On December 27, airstrikes by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) hit over 40 Hamas targets in Gaza. According to early reports, the airstrikes killed at least 225 people and wounded around 700, in the bloodiest one-day death toll in 60 years of conflict between Israel and Palestine. The bombardment set off angry demonstrations in Israel’s Arab towns and in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, as well as protests in countries around the region.

Thankyou. Oh Well here we go again. Even the above commentary says cease fire and then goes right to Israeli air strikes. Same old garbage from the ignorant bias media. Conveniently leaves out the 300 rockets from Hamas and world says nothing. 8 years of rockets and the above WORLD gives blind eye to the Israeli plight. 8 million Jews on a very small strip of land, against A BILLION Arabs, 20 countries, and they can’t leave Israel alone. BBC and CNN international showing sympathy to palestinians who voted Hamas in knowing they would make their lives miserable by bombing Israel constantly. You can’t even build a home without the extra 6000$ for a bomb shelter, schools have bomb shelters. Shame on the rest of the world for not putting down the Hamas and prior Hezbolla. The world is turning its back on Jews again, But NEVER Again, remember this. As far as I’m concerned you come threaten my home, only takes one rocket, for me to send you back to Mohammed.
I would rather do it hand to hand so I can see their stupid eyes. Arabs have been stuck on stupid because the moderate Muslim has no voice, no tongue and no courage. Average Muslim is hiding under the MAGIC carpet waiting to get stepped on by their own fellow Muslims. Historically they have never told the truth, every chance they get they scream victim, until they behead someone all tied up, then they have a voice. Crying to the UN, telling the world that Israel broke the cease fire treaty. What a bunch of horse sh-t that is. The Hamas never stopped, the bombing, the people voted them in, therefore they deserve collective punishment and they need to learn the hard way, these 16 century misfits. My advise to Israel better to strike very very hard, without concern of international opinion. No one saved you from Hitler or Stalin, and no one will come to rescue the Jews in Israel. Israel stands alone as always, and must fight for their lives. There are only 14 million Jews left on this entire planet, there are A BILLION and A Half Muslims in the world, and these billion can’t seem to leave 8 million Jews alone. I will not compare contributions to humanity, the Jews makes Islam look uneducated, backwards, primitive and just plain violent. The very people that gave birth to Christianity and Islam, the people that gave the world One GOD, and now once again we see the appreciation, Inquisition, Crusades, Holocaust, 1948 war 1967 war, I can’t go on its beyond words the young Rabbi still hanging off the cross, Genocide to Jews in the Arabian Penninsula, whats next. The star of David needs to kick some Arab butt, and it’s about time, thousand of years of persecution has to stop. never again!!! MEANS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. GET GOOD AND MAD AND TAKE CONTROL. God bless Israel. Thankyou Peter knopfler
I think you should lern some history, and be more open to the REAL ISREAL-ARAB PROBLEM. Who told you Jews gave the world ONE God?, for you to know Egypt was monotheistic long before Jews. As you said there are only 14millions jews around the globe, but Israel has more than 100 atomic bombs!!!!….and not to mention the amount of money they own (and see that I am not saing this is bad), why dont you say anithing about the REAL CIVIL PEOPLE who suffer this kind of conflicts (in both sides, but with its strong differecnes)….just be more open.
