They destroyed the Ames strain which was proven to be the one used in the attacks and it wasa ONLY controlled by OUR gov't! Why anyone believes a word outta these criminal, proven LIARS is beyond me...and has been since the whoppers of 9/11. A dead one makes the best kind. Interesting method of killing himself with a poison that took several days of suffering with organ failure. Is that really the choice for a poisons expert? The targets for the anthrax attacks were two liberal-leaning news offices and the Democratic majority leadership of the US Senate until the end of the year. Some of the results were intimidation of reporters who might want to check out what the Republicans were doing. The complete five month shut down of the offices of all the Senate Democratic leadership. Five months, folks, with no computers, no files, no mail. That's what I was told by Sen. Mikulski's Baltimore office. A postal worker I knew told me that they were getting sick handling the government- irradiated mail coming back from Ohio. It was the perfect opportunity to access all their information as well. The Senate leadership was working on hearings and a thorough review of the PATRIOT Act, a bill more than a thousand pages long containing four critical violations of our Constitution. There were no hearings before passage. Add to that the fact that the Bush administration immediately attempted to use the anthrax attacks as part of a justification for attacking Iraq including a forged letter. It didn't work. But that's another story. Talk about motives for this inside job using this specific Army lab's product. BTW- I saw a news article some time back that was supposed to have put the source to bed.
