You have got to be kidding , everything they do is pro U.S. policy , pro foreign policy and pro-Israel , in addition to helping to sell this illegal war and occupation , these people know exactly what they are doing .
21 Palestinians are massacred in Gaza , in ONE DAY, and blitzer never said a damn word . Yet when 3 israelis were killed by the bulldozer, it was LIVE, w/ VIDEO and INTERVIEWS .
Palestinians die by the dozens and it only on the fast scroll at the bottom and when Blitzer’s assertions follow every W.H point of view , when interviewing diplomats, who’s country supposedly is ” doing enough ‘.
CNN’s formula is so easy to see it’s unbelievable people think they don’t know what they are doing , it’s heavy on CHEAP political Theater, i.e. Brazille V Bennent , as well as the other infotaining , hoping to build a resume , so called experts blathering about silly accusations , mostly form the right . The majority of their news cast starts w/ ‘John McCain says ” or McCain says , tire gage no substitute for oil drilling ” . blah blah.
The rest is missing girl somewhere and pounding the weather into the ground , filling out their formula for over hyped drama .
As far as Campbell Brown’s ridiculous assertions, so only said bcs SHE COULD and it pleased the powers that be .
When have they EVER entertained the WILD notion that the Iraq War was about O I L ?Or ever mentioned that Afghanistan could be occupied because the U.S wants to build permanent bases to help get the huge oil pipeline built from the Caspian . NEVER !
Not to mention General News before the WAR, the numerous colonels , generals cheer leading the way to WAR and OCCUPATION and here’s an old kicker from the late 90s , Abe Vreis a dutch reporter , a REAL JOURNALIST reported that CNN hired Psops from Ft. Bragg , to work at CNN HQ as ” interns ” a fact verified . PSYOPS working at CNN as ‘ INTERNS” .
Through in Anderson Cooper, attended CIA training at Langley for around a year, specializing of all things ..Africa. So when he’s there ‘ reporting ‘ what’s his real agenda.
And when Walter Issaccson former head of CNN told the post that it would be ” perverse ” to show dead Afghans ” because of 9-11 , are you kidding , their agenda is loud and clear , hide victims of U.S. foreign policy , don’t report about the U.S.sponsored war on Somalia , the Gaza Humanitarian Crisis , etc etc etc etc and the beat goes on .

When I tuned in on Friday and heard Brown and Hill’s sarcastic, slanted trashing of the House Judiciary’s hearing on the limits of executive power, I thought I had mistakenly tuned in to Fox News. What was I watching? Sean Hannity in drag???? No, it was Campbell Brown.

There is so much ugliness in America today. Left versus right, conservativer versus liberal, as if any of these positions will mean a damn after the ulitmate arbiter - death. It all boils down to a subtle piece in a movie that flourished over a decade ago…”Blade Runner” as Leon smacks Deckard back to consciousness and tells him: “Wake-up. Time to die!” All thes posing and posturing for what? Fame, greed, position and power? What a shame that we have become a nation of insensitive, lying whores.

CNN knows all about Kabuki theater. That’s all it has been presenting since Ted Turner sold it off.
It’s anchors and commentators are the most clueless on TV. And that’s saying a lot considering all the fog-heads on MSNBC (save Keith Olbermann), NBC, CBS, ABC, and the worst by far, Fox News.
The astounding absence of intelligence or judgement of these editors’ and producers’ puppets is a direct reflection of the demands of their corporetae owners. No News, no vaild commentary, just entertainment masquerading as serious journalism. In Japan they call it , ahh, ahh, oh yes - - - Kabuki !

Fox News IS fair and balanced……….To people whom have a decent amount of intelligence……..The liberals have destroyed this country, and it’s all because of their stupidity…….But I will say that just about every person in congress and the senate, on BOTH sides, are pieces os crap, and they ALL should be replaced………..Can you “term limits?”

I watched all 6 hours of the hearings. To call it kabuki is Campbell Brown’s lame attempt to marginalize what it was all about. I guess she didn’t pay attention at all, because it was NOT an impeachment hearing. It was a hearing regarding this administration overstepping its executive powers. It was the republicans on the panel that first brought up the impeachment word. Then others began mentioning the word, but that wasn’t the point of the hearing. I think she needs to go back to anchor school.
