<description>I wish Ms. Weymouth well. Moving her office to the News room and the buy out offered to 100 employees gives me the sense that this lady has a plan. She faces a serious problem in a changing world. From my own point of view as a retired person I only receive my local paper on Sundays. I am a news junkie and I spend a considerable time on the computer picking up my news from around the globe. I need to hear different voices and different points of view. I do subscribe to a variety of magazines which include libertarian as well as left views. I have concluded that with some effort on my part I have a good understanding of what is going on in the world. Of course Media Channel is a part of my regular diet. I can not see any way out for Ms. Weymouth without involving customers obtaining their news via computer and posting a wide range of views. Annual subscription rates are a necessary fact in order for her organization to survive. Her past experience at the Post in advertising and the legal departments will hopefully provide her with new directions. It will be challenging and exciting, what a ride with such serious consequences. My only advise is keep a firm grip on her drive, her instincts and her integrity.
