Enough is Enough

Crap! I just finished my finals and in the process endured a new level of pain I never thought I could handle. So I come home turn on my computer thinking to relax while reading the news on The Media Channel and here this is.

Does it ever end; this ceaseless assault on the American Republic?

I didn't go to the Media Reform conference because it was held on finals week; I really wanted to go so that I could channel my energies in that direction, but at the same time I feel it is so important to learn how to produce energy from sources other than oil.

So I decided it better to finish my finals and wait for the next opportunity to inject myself into the process of media reform. But here it is 8 months away from the complete redaction of the right of Americans to redress grievances against their government its corporate sponsors.

OK, how do we channel our energies; how do we regain control of the channels of communications so that the people can organize in a way that the most energetic forms of human expression can be given a voice.

My take on this is that the media giants fear that if programming space was available to independent content creators, they would rapidly loose popularity to the new kids on the block as their programming would pale in comparison to the new highly energized pieces of free and inspired imagination that soar to new heights never before dreamed.

This assault on America has to end and it has to end now! We need to organize now and we have to fight like we are fighting for our very lives, because if you haven’t noticed these mega corporations are NOT improving the condition of life in America or the rest of the world for that matter. They ignore the mortal peril that global warming presents and instead in the interest of generating revenue, lob off hundreds of thousands in a nation they knew couldn’t defend itself, and they have no intention of stopping there. Privatization, or the Corporatization or Congomeratization of America and the world doesn’t lead to more competitive and more efficient structures, it leads us to the brink of global collapse. Enough is enough, we cannot let the conglomeratization of the globe go on any more, it’s time to fight back and fight back with everything we have lest we lose the very life of this planet.
