Mayhill Fowler, a so-called “amateur,” did a much better job of covering the campaigns than did the purported “professionals.” In fact, Ms. Fowler simply did what all reporters used to do: Follow the truth.

From" Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail" to "The Boys on the Bus" to Ms. Fowler, we’ve been shown countless times how flawed mainstream reporting has become. It is bad for journalism but it is awful for democracy.

She's got a good mind and she didn't get kidnapped by Obama when he ditched the so-called reporters in Va. and flew them to Chicago while he went off to secret meetings with his handlers (that scoop goes to Alex Jones another independent)
What is interesting is that a whole plane load of the best and brightest could get hijacked without a squeak one from the dummies being carried off. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.
The people on the fringes seem to be a whole lot better at reporting than a jet load of wonks and freeloaders.
