Al Gore's project for a reinvented government - 'market-based' utilizing the global information infrastructure is the reason behind everything that is happening now. The Bush Administration didn't create it - but they are exploiting it to the max. And the most frighening aspect of it is that computer systems are invisible for the most part. You can't see the man behind the curtain - and you can't see the people behind the systems. That we could just let the dollar float and be rid of all that debt and deficit spending etc. But this is dfferent. There is more to it due to the complexities of the global situation. There is a "Book" that talks about this very event...so some know this is not an unexpected situation in the U.S., as well as a global crisis!
