Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, 15 May 2008 – President George W. Bush will be among 14 heads of state and government welcomed by President Mubarak at the opening of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in Sharm El Sheikh on 18 May. More than 1,500 participants, including key heads of state and government, ministers, leading business figures and leaders from civil society and the media from more than 60 countries will participate in the meeting in Sharm El Sheikh from 18 to 20 May. As well as holding talks with President Mubarak, President Bush will have meetings with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and H.M. King Abdullah Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
