SUNNYVALE, Calif. & WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Yahoo! News and Politico, a Washington-based political journalism organization, tomorrow will host an interview with President George W. Bush, representing the first time the President has been interviewed on-camera exclusively for an online audience. The interview will take place at the White House, and will be conducted by Politico’s Mike Allen. The complete video interview will be available on the Yahoo! News’ homepage (http://news.yahoo.com) beginning Tuesday afternoon, with complete analysis and a full transcript on Politico (http://politico.com).
“President Bush is excited about the discussion with Yahoo! News and Politico. It’s the first time he has granted an interview exclusively for an online audience,” said Tony Fratto, deputy assistant to United States President George W. Bush and deputy press secretary.
“This interview is a natural progression in political news coverage, mirroring the change in the habits of Americans, who are increasingly turning online for their news,” said Alan Warms, vice president and general manager, Yahoo! News. “As the largest news destination in the United States, Yahoo! News is the perfect host of this landmark interview. President Bush’s willingness to sit down with us further validates that Yahoo! News is America’s starting point for political news.”
The one-on-one interview promises to cover a colorful mix of serious policy-related topics, and some personal questions. It will also be one of the President’s first on-camera interviews following the wedding of First Daughter Jenna Bush in Crawford, Texas.
Added Politico’s executive editor, Jim VandeHei: “The interview is designed to take the Yahoo News and Politico audiences behind the scenes of a White House that historians will spend decades exploring, and to capture the president’s thinking heading into his final months in Washington.”

I can’t wait to read the serous questions about the wedding, about the move to Uruguay where the process servers cannot follow W.
Asking a war criminal questions is not that hard. Asked Ian Paisley about the killings in Belfast and got pushed aside. Asked a Col. from Argentina about the dirty war and he ran off. Asked a cousin about supplying oil to the Axis during WWII (she was part of the Onassis, Bush, Kennedy quartet)she said one has to be clear about making money.
I’m glad they are using the Web we can watch W.’s nose grow longer.
Yippy!!!! You know I never tire of hearing his words of wisdom and looking at that stately face. The Web was never used more wisely?????
