I was completely unmoved by the sudden outrage you showed over ABC’s absurd handling of the Pennsylvania debate between Hillary and Barack. This rant of yours was merely more pro-Barack garbage, and more anti-Hillary ugliness, with one specific reference to the “unique” and sincere take, Barack had on the matter of the “bitterness” of Americans, by contrast with “all the other politicians” (i.e. Hillary). The notion that Barack was pandering, just as “all these other politicians” were doing, is not even considered in your one-sided analysis. Why is it that you didn’t reveal any concern with this media problem, until it adversely affected Obama? When Russert verbally brutalized Hillary in her earlier debate with Obama, I’m sure you weren’t only silent, you were pleased. Hillary has taken the brunt of this media bias against her, for all the years she’s had to face these offensive media gasbags. But throughout, your organization remained silent. MediaChannel is simply revealing more of the ugly bias against Hillary, that all far Left and far Right media outlets are showing. You have no real interest in reforming media, just in promoting your pet candidates of the hour.
Personally, I don’t care who wins, as long as it’s not a Republican other than Dr. Ron Paul. My preferred Democratic candidate, Dennis Kucinich, didn’t make it either.
I think Obama got a bum rap. I also think Hillary has gotten a lot of bum raps in the past. So far, I haven’t heard too many bum raps about McCain.
I also know that everyone is ignoring the single most important factor in this election. Karl Rove.
No matter who wins the Democratic nomination, Rove will still be there, as he has been all along. And no telling who he is in his pocket.
And above all, don’t take the narrow view this election, because what is happening now has it’s roots several elections ago.
Look at how our nation has been managed over the past several presidencies, starting with Reagan. That’s where Rove, Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz and most of the rest of them got their start.
