The business was managed by greed heads and professional money people who knew little of what they were doing of course the papers are dying they are reflecting ideas that the readership cannot relate to. The unions were of no help either except the printers who became isolated and were picked off in Denver by Dean Singleton the new undertaker for the AP.
Mismanaged and misunderstood the press refuses to accept the boob tube or Utube so it is headed down the tubes. Management blames the Internet which is a grim smile, or they blame the readership, the unions, the weather, the deity or best of all the times in which we live. They are more fatalistic than Homer Simpson. They would do well to listen to the wisdom of Homer"It's bad luck to play with the dead."</description>
