					<description>Profit, or lack of it, determines the resources the media is willing to spend. Media was glad to reduce coverage of Iraq because it is expensive to produce.

The same thing, profit, explains why the media has not been covering McCain and has been pushing a Democrat to bow out. Media does not want to spend the money to cover 3 candidates.</description>

					<description>Can't argue with a single word here. I retired in Oct. 2004 and in addition to reading many books available I had to buy a computer to keep up with Iaq and Afganistan war news. The major television news avoided it altogether. I didn't see this as a way to "support the troops". I still don't .</description>
