Obama spent the whole time he was in the Senate working on his campaign and cozying up to corporations. Hillary spent her time working on her Senate committees. That is why they had to ask Hillary the questions first 70% of the time in the debates. Obama could listen to her answer and modify it a little and use it or say "I agree with Hillary." Obama used his charisma the same way Howard Dean did and had the same kind of following among the young computer users online. Obama is not really for universal health care so he is more favored by the media and other corporations. Obama also thinks school vouchers are a good idea. Obama picked Joe Lieberman to be his mentor and has stuck by him even after he became an independent. Obama’s Plan To Privatize Social Security He often votes with the republicans instead of with the democrats. He picked Lieberman as his mentor in the Senate and stuck with him even after Lieberman became an Independent. He plans to have Republicans in his Cabinet. And he openly appeals to independents and republicans to support him with be-a-dem-for-a-day flyers. Much of his vote has been from be-a-dem-for-a-day. Many libertarians support Obama and he has been called a libertarian or a liberal republicans. He is not enthusiastic about regulating business. He has not supported separating politics with religion. He attends a church which should lose its tax exempt status because it openly favors one candidate over another.
