Late in the sixties the truth was removed from the table as the large glossy's committed supuku and reporters became for the most part corperate shills. Television had nothing but hucksters, PBS was a chimera hard to hunt and impossible to feed children with.Then came the computer which I regarded with much suspicion. Two people who I respected said it was the greatest gift since fire. Al Arronowitz pushed me into the ring, lots of lion to hunt and oxen to gore. But for how long? Yahoo and Google have built filter systems for the Chinese who are using the Chicago School Model to dominate a third of the worlds population(see Naomi Kline) How long before the building of more expencive systems forces independents out of the market? I think of a song by Utah Phillips (Dog Canyon) and wonder how long before the syndicate gun men force us all off the range? Until then I range with assigai looking to bring in my pelts.
