Since I live in a town dominated by the Southern Baptist Convention most of the talk about Islam is hate speech. If I express the traditional American tolerance I am denounced from the pulpit and turned in to the police as a subversive. I live in the area dominated by the Rev. Dobson, Haggard etal. We have a new intolerance sponsored by the very people who advise the White House Resident Idiot every week on religious matters. The Lords and Ladies might be doing with tolerance what Reagan did with economics turning it to trickle down. Their master Lord Bush meanwhile is working the hate circuit.
