I only know what the press says, very little intelligible and what returning lawyers have said and it looks likely there will be all sorts of unintended consequences. This is a wait and see moment.

The utterly and totally unfortunate part of this entire thing, is that the Serbs, are totally within their rights. I've been to "Kosovo" with the military, I KNOW what goes on, and went on here, and it disgusts me. The best way to explain this area, is to say this would be like France, walking into a province of Great Britian, and saying, "yea, this is ours", and killing police officers, and bus loads of children, and refusing to speak the language, or do anything not to get along, then screaming for the UN when Britian fights for what's theirs. THAT is what happened here. Yes, Bosnia, was ugly, without a doubt about it, Kosovo, was a joke.
Macadonia, decided they wanted to be their own country.... did Serbia come down and attack them? NO, you know who did? Albanains, who the Macedonians took in when all the "ethic cleansing" took place (biggest mass grave NOT at the border, was caused when an Albanain leaders murdered his own people cause he thought they were spys), then the Albanians turned around, and took over several Macedonian towns, LITERALLY, with weapons, and barricades, and said they were theirs, and started demanding autonomy from the Macedonian government.

anyway, point is, you all want to feel sorry for someone? think how you would react if a foreign people came in and tried to take over part of your country.

just my two cents
Your two cents is of value. According to International Law, Serbia has to concur to provide independence. I believe this is consistent with UN Resolution 1244. Many countries will not recognize Kosovo's independence.
