Olbermann and Greenwald Discuss FOX Attacks Decency

Mr. Olberman’s “lethal hypocrisy detector” worked perfectly, I suggest, on this occasion. After an horrendously ovepaid public-corporate pseudo-religious immoralist has inveighed against “secular” anything, what is left to say in rebuttal? What is the other choice he is suggesting–a former US constitution’s non-government tyrants inculcating human sacrifice, fundamentalist non-practitioner hogwash beliefs, and extended lessons in renunciation–taught before a backdrop of sexploitation videos? Now Murdochists, Bushites and their running dogs have been handed two of their three objectives by our unAmerican FCC tyrants. So , understandably, they’re working on part three–”explicit lessons in their dogmatic postmodernist atttitudinalizings”. The best part of this well-handled and frankly even-handed condemnation of Fox’s hypocritical sexploitation policy I suggest was when the two gentlemen presenting suggested that, in view of the Fox tsars’ 1. record of unethical news-twisting, 2. failures to cover the important and 3. presentings of extremist viewpoints and unbalanced neoconism under the claim of being “fair and balanced”–it’s better that they present saft-core porn, because what they put out as news is in fact informatioanally far, far worse in its effects than this is.

It sounds like sour grapes to me. Fox has increased viewers to the point they make CNN and MSNBC look like dwarfs. It doesn’t really matter what Olbermann and Greenwald think or say because according to the ratings hardly anybody is tuned in to MSNBC to hear them.
