Saddam Did 9/11 — One-Third of Americans Believe the Big Lie
An important New York Times/CBS News survey finds that six years after the terror attacks of 9/11, “33 percent of all Americans, including 40 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of Democrats, say Saddam Hussein was personally involved.” In reality, of course, Saddam and Iraq had absolutely no connection to the terror attacks. 1/3 of Americans believe the Big Lie propaganda tactics employed by the pro-war lobby. Only 5 percent of Americans “most trusted the Bush administration to resolve the war, the poll found. Asked to choose among the administration, Congress and military commanders, 21 percent said they would most trust Congress and 68 percent expressed most trust in military commanders. That is almost certainly why the White House has presented General Petraeus and Mr. Crocker as unbiased professionals, not Bush partisans.”

How can we unravel the lies when they are constantly placed in the context of truth?
It is not even that people are foolish - they are just manipulated and exploited. So few of us have the time (too busy trying to earn a living, feed the family and stay afloat) to delve for hard to find facts.
Here in Europe, I don’t believe the majority associate Iraq with 9/11 - but in the US, the media play the song loud.
Such a ludicrous lie, such horrid consequences that occur every day.

I live in Colorado Springs area and the churches set the tone after all Colorado Springs is both the home of the Lord’s Representative and Homeland Security.
The know the evil Sadam did it and will
punish all those anti American journalists that are secretly siding with his successors.
They are dumb and dumber.
The poor wounded when they get home are filed away. The local police seem to eliminate those who go mad after home coming. All cozy and taken care of.
The Democrats took care of IndyMedia when it started getting too Indy. There’s a convention up the road and we would not want the boat rocked.
Soon the war criminal and chief will be replaced by the grifter’s wife and all will be the same. The press has done it’s job worrying about Britteny.

Job one–we need a constitution based on regulations–how individuals claim rights; not on public-interest totalitarian ideas that equate dictatorial “laws”, “programs”, falsely-titled commandments masquerading as bills etc.
The key to getting back a marketplace of lives, not one composed of corporate tsars and their slaves, is learning how to fight postmodernism–the root of all reality-bashing boss-obedient collectivism, including public interest US style bureaucratic-imperial presidential tyranny.
1. Name what the criminals are dong.
2. Omit their names; they don’t matter–naming them only empowers them. In a nation of false advertising and no scientific thought, any publicity is powerful publicity., even terrible mentions.
3. Teach citizens in schools, to think in terms of categories–scientific definitions based on the 5 or prioritized internal workings or man-made structural components that characterize normative examples of things.
4. Criminals and tsars gain power from victims; themselves, they lack realism, capability, creative and strategic thought, etc.–so deny their acts, not the particular totalitarians who don’t matter.
5. Never omit an opportunity to repeat the truth.
How do we handle the “Saddam” lie? Using what I have said? Simple:
Democrats must tell the truth–who else would be believed.
And it must be repeated every time 09/11 is mentioned.
Every single time someone brings up 09/11 or Iraq or Hussein or Bush’s breathtaking lack of strategic realism.
“The 9/ll hijackers had nothing to do with Iraq or its dictator.”
“Anyone who say Al Queda was connected then to
Saddam Hussein, to Iraq, or to weapons of mass destruction, is deliberately telling lies. Why?”
“As far as 09/11 is concerned–Iraq equaled zero.
Saddam Hussein equaled zero.
WMDs equaled zero.”
“Anyone who says otherwise is a liar, and is betraying the citizens of the United States.”
“Only traitors could believe such nonsense.”
“Only traitors repeat such nonsense.”
“Such traitors are not leaders, not Americans, not patriots–they are liars; and they are men who betray everything this nation’s honest citizens stand for.”
Period.
Fight fire with fire. Tell the truth.
Nothing else will work.
