Well, this is an excellent article reinforcing my thought that something is wrong in our nation. Freedom of the press has always been, and always will be, that thin line between my freedom to choose or be oppressed by those seeking to control and exploit.

I liked what Peter Gibbs wrote:"If people really knew, the war would be stopped tomorrow. But of course they don’t know and can’t know. The correspondents don’t write and the censorship wouldn’t pass the truth.”

Censorship is increasing in this nation on so many levels that I think we have become numb to it.

To journalists I say keep writing.

Thanks for doing your best in an awful world. The generals want it to appear to be a nice dull war while the generals and pols the ever blood thirsty and safe, spend a lot of blood proving that things are not quite as they tell us they are. The radio guys who made contact with the insurgents pointed out how poorly our officer corps is doing against a fifth rate opponent, have proved their point.

Meanwhile the pretty vampires with the TV cameras are setting the stage for more bodies to suck the life out of on camera.

Safe at home Bush and Chaney count the blood soaked bills, do their toot...; tighten the screws on a once free press.
