Here is why I don’t donate to you anymore. Two or three years ago I did donate. When I gave 50.00 your site and pay pal said it was an every year donation which it was NOT. It was a one time thing. Neither pay pal nor your site would help me resolve this issue. I dropped using pay pal as a result. Yes I still read you but I don’t feel secure about sending you money as a result of this past experience. I would imagine there are others that hold this same opinion. I give my money to Coomon Dreams and information Clearinghouse.

Danny and Rory, you have made me see that all that is written isn’t necessarily fact. You made me read the Constitution, the Federalist papers, John Locke, and Lord Baron de Montesquieu. Why because you showed me that what I previously digested in the Press wasn’t leading me to a better understanding of democracy, but rather a better inculcation of plutocracy. I am returning to the University to finish my degree in physics so that I might yet play a role in ending Oil Dominant energy production. I gave what I could because I won’t have time to wade through the WEB for the next two years and will depend on responsible journalism to keep me informed about attacks on our democracy. I hope many many others find it within their means and conscience to donate what they can to keep this indispensable news service alive and broadcasting.

I occasionally read from your e-mails and do support your gallant efforts. But being retired, on a fixed income, I didn’t think I had enough to give. Then came O’Reilly’s recent diatribes.
