Hometown Baghdad
The everyday life of the Iraqi citizen has been the great untold story of the Iraq war. Hometown Baghdad is hoping to change that by creating this new documentary web series following the lives of a few Iraqi 20-somethings trying to survive in Baghdad. In these videos, brave Iraqi subjects and crew risked their lives every time they turned on a camera. They want to show the world what life is like when your hometown is a war-zone. I am so sorry to be implicated as a citizen of the country (USA) that is the direct cause of such terror and death, not just in Iraq and Afghanistan but everywhere that happens to posses the resources my country and a few of my fellow countrymen covet.

The overwhelming majority of Americans are opposed to this war. We are repulsed by
the invasion of Iraq, and the continued killing of innocent people. I think of the millions of Americans who are outraged by this atrocity. What I cannot understand is why we don’t stop it.
