Privatization and outsourcing are signatures of this Administration—and not just on the job front. It’s being used widely in propaganda with PR firms like “The Lincoln Group” inventing news and ripping off the government in Iraq for Iraqi consumption, as a former operative detailed recently in a tell-all in Harper’s.
We see it in politics with “swiftboating” ad campaigns rolled out to polarize our politics and demonize Democrats in a way that allows the government and The GOP to distance themselves and practice what the CIA calls “plausible deniability.”
The spooks learned long ago that covert warfare is more effective than open operations.
Domestically, in an era of enhanced coordination and decentralization on the right, the dirty work of targeting enemies and defaming critics no longer needs a Joe McCarthy in the Senate. It can be handled more “credibly” by privately funded networks which understand media placement strategies and the use of the internet.
Several weeks ago, MediaChannel was sent an article from David Horowitz’s Front Page website attacking funders of anti-war and peace activism. It was moderately written and appeared to be well-documented even as it argued that the anti-war movement gives aid and comfort to terrorists. Articles like this are then circulated to conservative blogs and student groups who use them as basis for protest and propaganda. They are of course riddled with inaccuracies, spin and distortions and it would probably take a website as large to just document the errors and omissions, It is not a task most sane people voluntarily undertake.
We were asked to comment.
In response, we offer a three-pronged analysis. MediaChannel editor and News Dissector Danny Schechter who worked alongside Horowitz in an earlier life, discusses his crusade to defund progressives.
D. J. Waletzky, MediaChannel’s Web Director, offers an analysis of Horowitz’s latest attempt to reinvent himself—linking his enemies on the American left with radical Islam.
Finally, we link to several excellent background articles about Horowitz detailing his campus crusades, publishing ventures, media appearances, and neo-McCarthyite methods.
Even as today’s “misunderstood” neo-cons begin to reconsider the role they played in the march to war in Iraq in magazines like Vanity Fair and in TV interviews, David Horowitz entertains no doubts. It’s full steam ahead. As Dick Cheney told ANC News about the war, “It may not be popular. It doesn’t matter….”

This is my response to everyone in America at this time involved in “politics as usual.” This person, Fred Cederholm, wrote at financialsense and his piece is linked at the bottom of my email letter to him.
Thanks for taking the time to read ~
Dear Fred:
Yes, I too have been thinking about the Domino effect. But where I learned it was not in my youth exactly although it was as a child that I did become first introduced to the Domino. However, it was from one of the best Psychologists I ever experienced and his name was Dr. Sigfried Berthelsdorf and he was a colleague of Carl Jung’s in Vienna. Now this has you thinking - just how old is this person sending me this email!? Well, let me tell you that Dr. Berthelsdorf was quite elderly when I finally traded him art to learn Jungian Dream Therapy, for a once a week session which lasted almost two years.
The lesson Dr. Berthelsdorf taught me was and is - Lifes’ choices are stacked up just like a row of Dominos and once I push over the first Domino and it tumbles its fall into the other Dominos, finally arriving back around to either propel me forward in my choice(s) or does it shove me into the ground with a force that I can’t control because deductive reasoning was not practiced when making my first choice?
Deductive reasoning is the first Domino. Deductive reasoning is a thought process by which we “deduce” the outcome of our choice or choices. It’s really very simple, so very, very simple.
Did the FED, et al use deductive reasoning when they decided to use the American Republic as their gambling chips? After all it was the European banksters who came over here and taught the western banksters how to increase credit expansion in the same fraudulent way that they did it, using “signatures” to “monetize” but at least Europe has been around a lot longer with more sophisticated gamblers than America and having already experienced their collapse during WWII, they didn’t “bet the farm” and so it’s not the EU who will suffer as much as the US, at least not this time.
My question which is more a simple statement of fact: Why are the people in charge of the banking operations in the US not more intelligent or better yet, simply educated about how the money actually works? How can these people at the FDIC, OCC, etc. pretend to not know what’s going on!
Why are the 6000 plus private entities of the FED not being held accountable for the RICO laws which they have violated time and time again? This is basically a rhetorical question.
Far too many “good” Americans who actually do know how the system works and they know EXACTLY what’s going on for that matter, yet no one chooses to sue the FED. Yes, the “good people of the village” know what’s really going on but rather than grow the courage to stop this fraud, the “economists” clearly allow the “commoners” to be punished again and again for being “innocent.” I boldly use the word innocent and not ignorant. Ignorance can only be called once the real truth has been made available for the average human being to be exposed to - but the whole truth about our monetary system is kept a dark secret and it’s on purpose.
I have yet to see, at this time, not nearly enough people - those who understand finance - step up to do what needs to be done. The FED needs to be sued in a class action suit by the people of the United States of America for destroying our Republic as a sovereign nation and this can now be proven without a shadow of a doubt in the courts. The RICO laws absolutely apply to what the FED does as “conducting business.”
You mentioned the FDIC and it appears you have actually been involved in the infrastructure of how this “agency” operates. It’s perfectly clear that all the systems put into place as “agencies of the United States government” which protect or obfuscate the FED, are not immune from the RICO laws which they too violate on a daily basis.
Thanks for your thinking because I too spend just about every minute of the day every single day thinking about the Dominos which the FED has pushed over for America to be completely smashed into the ground - the NAU, SPP and Amero are no accidents.
The primary question I have is - just when are the good people of the US going to impeach the Supreme Court who blatantly violated the Constitution of the United States of America by conspiring with the Bush Crime Family, and the Cheney/Rumsfeld criminal operations, in the hijacking of our country for the obvious enrichment of the “ruling elite”?
We call these despots OGREs - OneworldGoverningRulingElites.
Its the OGREs who are actually in charge and this means we were hijacked by these people (the Supreme Court are OGREs) and therefore, nothing Bush has done in the past six years is legitimate because he is NOT the President, he’s nothing more than a despot, and as it is with any country that is overthrown by despots (which is exactly what has happened), the revolt must happen in order to take our country back. It’s called the “Cheney Presidency” and this is what it is thus proving it was a Coup d’Etat and NOT the choice of a President for our Republic.
Those who understand how the actual “banking instruments and notes” work as the economic system of the U.S., and that which is legal and that which is not, have an unmitigated obligation to step up and get a class action suit against the private entities who violate the RICO laws which protect us from despots.
Time is of the essence! February 2007: “Fraudulent inducement” through “cheap money” was and is a cyclical practice of the FED; and, the outcome is trillions of dollars worth of real estate which is acquired through the process of signature monetization by the “American Consumer” and this is easily and effortlessly handed over to the vulture capitalists by way of “transference of wealth.” The banksters have perfected this “business” over the past 300 years and it allows them to continue to rule through their criminal operations by creating the “inflation” that steals the wealth that was created through the “credit” in the first place.
Fear is not an option anymore.
Thanks for thinking and I look forward to hearing from you.
