If the US economy goes into a slump, millions of Chinese who emigrated from the rural areas into the urban areas will suddenly be jobless. Communism + economic discontent is a bad formula and the Chinese leaders know this. I was in China two months ago and saw it for myself. This nightmare scenario may play out, but there is still time to reset the course. The game can’t end until China creates some domestic demand for it’s products. What energy China cannot produce, through gigantic construction projects, they aquire form deals with Iran, North Korea, and other players on the "axis of evil".
