The Sacramento Bee made a small but critical mistake when it printed the wrong phone number for people to call to order a newspaper subscription.
The phone number — off by a single digit — instead led people to a phone sex hotline, reported FOX40.
“Welcome to America’s hottest hotline,” the voice began when people called.
“We’re all adults, we’ve heard stuff like that before,” said one person interviewed about the incident.
