During the past ten years, Stephen has traveled and worked in over thirty-five countries. His career began auspiciously with a series of award-winning guerrilla films and the creation of an acclaimed film festival, Persistence of Vision, that featured the work of his and othwr emerging directors. That summer Stephen drew private financing for a world tour/road film that would be packaged and distributed exclusively on video and DVD - the first television 'album' - under the name Channel Zero. The first release, Planet Street, won unprecedented international distribution (Tower, Virgin, HMV) and critical acclaim which led to over $1.7 M in unsolicited private investment to build a production studio and produce the next two issues. Since the demise of Channel Zero Stephen has begun touring raves and broadcasting via radio and internet as trance dj Another Astronaut. He is currently finishing a feature film script dealing with the CIA crack cocaine connection called Crackhouse Philosophy 101.
