Author and journalist who has written two books on race and worked for several prominent media companies, including Newsweek and ABC News. She is the Author of Don't Believe the Hype (Plume 1995), wich covered race and the media, and The Color of Our Future (William Morrow 1999), on America's changing racial demographics. She is currently launching a global community online.
