Presently a freelancer working with New Media projects and teaching Online Journalism. Also a syndicated columnist for Inter Press Service, and Latin American Associated Editor with The World Paper. Served as foregn correspondent in Chile, England, Zimbabwe and Costa Rica. Has worked for 10 years at Globo Television Network, as late evening News Director as well as London Bureau Chief until 1983. Previously foreign News Editor for Jornal do Brasil, Latin American correspondent for the Portuguese paper PUBLICO, and editor of Third World magazine. Is also a freelance consultant on Media Advocacy.
