Bio

Timothy Karr, is VP of Business Development for Globalvision New Media and Editor-at-Large for The WorldPaper. Previously he worked as Time Warner's Asiaweek correspondent for Vietnam. While in Hanoi, Karr helped establish the Vietnam Investment Review--Socialist Vietnam's first international partnership in publishing--where he served as managing editor from 1993 to 1997. He also managed a multinational news and production team to publish Time Out Vietnam, Dau Tu and Heritage Magazine, three Asia publications owned by Australia Consolidated Press. Previously, Karr served as a stringer and photojournalist for the Associated Press, The New York Times and Agence France Presse. His images of Hanoi won the most recent International Golden Light Award for Documentary Photography.
